How to create a class and add students

This article will show you how to create a class in Legentibus for educators and then add students to the class. There are two ways to add students:


  1. Upload a list of students in a .csv or .xslx
  2. Manually add the students.

1: Create a class and upload a list of students.

  1. When logged in, ensure the tab "classes" in the left-hand menu is active. Above the table to the right, click on +ADD CLASS.
  2. Fill out the fields you deem necessary. Only the first field is required.
  3. Click CONTINUE
  4. Tap UPLOAD LIST
  5. Select the list from your computer, and click OPEN.
  6. The content of the spreadsheet will be read. You can review that the information is correct before clicking FINISH.
  7. You have now created a class, and all your students have been added to it. You can now continue and create an assignment.

2 Add students manually

If your class is very small or you prefer doing it manually, do the following:

  1. When logged in, ensure the tab "classes" in the left-hand menu is active. Above the table to the right, click on +ADD CLASS.
  2. Please fill out the fields you think are necessary. Only the first field is required.
  3. Click CONTINUE
  4. Click on ADD MANUALLY
  5. In the left field in the table, type the student's name; to the right, type the student's email address. This is the address that the student will use to log in and also use to reset the password if necessary.
  6. Click on the green + on the following line to add another student.
  7. When you are done, click FINISH.
  8. Your class is now created, and the login details have been sent to the email addresses provided for each student's name.
